What is Orgasm?
Orgasm
can be described as the phenomenon in which both sex partners experience rapid changes in muscular contraction in the lower pelvic muscular region.
The region is located around the anus and the primary sexual organs. The after-effects of orgasm are tiredness hence after sexual pleasure both sex partners feel the urge to rest.
It has been found that usually in a human male orgasm, rapid and rhythmic contractions of the prostate occur. This activity results in muscles at the base of the penis to throw out stored semen after or during sex. Such a process doesn't take much time, may be a few seconds and for the male it's a pleasure beyond description.
The phenomenon of orgasm is the direct result of the stimulation of the penis. With aging, its very much normal that the amount of semen the man ejects diminishes and hence the time period that the man sustains orgasm lowers. With age such a pleasurable moment is of very short duration.
After ejaculation, a period occurs only after which the man can have another orgasm and not before that. This period depends on certain health condition of the man and varies from less than a minute to may be half a day. If a man is not in perfect health then the refractory period may not be there at all. It has also been observed that a few men can achieve orgasm through a short massage of the prostrate.
It is very much possible to experience an orgasm and that too without any ejaculation. This is referred to as
dry orgasm. Another technique that many men are known to have, is the ability of or the technique of putting pressure on the perineum and then stop ejaculation.
This way they can redirect the semen to the bladder, however such a technique can cause damage as this phenomenon puts a lot of pressure on the nerves and blood vessels. Some young men are known to have a lot of stamina. Even after one orgasm their penis may be erect and are able to
have orgasm again.
For human female orgasm, an orgasm is experienced by having moistening the vaginal walls. This is due to the blood trapped in the spongy tissues. When the phenomenon of orgasms becomes imminent the vagina then decreases in size and the uterus experiences muscular contraction.
Usually a woman experiences full orgasm when her uterus, vagina and pelvic muscles feel a series of rhythmic contractions. Such contractions arouse a feeling of pleasure for the woman and after the orgasm is over, the vagina returns to its normal size in less than 10 minutes.
Certain drugs are known to have an affect on orgasms and are effective enough to even enhance it. These drugs may be able to increase sexual pleasure but can be harmful as they do posses certain side effects. Orgasm done in a natural way is most safe however if you do face any difficulty you must consult a doctor.
